What Do You Think Of My Roommate?

I have a roommate that I find to be annoying. He only speaks about the fact that he is in a fraternity. He always has something negative to tell me even if it does not bother him. Even though I felt I have cut back and is losing weight he tells me I eat too much and I think its because of the fact he does not eat much and cant eat certain things because it would affect his skin. He also told me on couple occasions that all I do is eat and sleep even though me and my other college roommate works out 2-3 hours a day while he sits home and watch tv all day from 5 p.m. – 12 p.m.

He sounds like a total tool! Do not listen to him, he’s just trying to make you feel bad because he knows that one day he will wake up as a 45 year old douche with a butt load of STDs next to a vapid trophy wife who would off him for his trust fund money as soon as kiss him. It’s great that you’re trying to get in better shape but do it for yourself and be healthy about it and if he gives you any crap steal his frat pin and chuck it in the garbage where it and he belongs.

He’s annoying, and he wants you to be annoyed, because that’s all he has against you – his annoyance. Ignore him. Maybe he’ll disappear!! :)

  3. Stacy Says:

He is probally jealouss of you. He could be pessimeist.

  4. positive Says:

He is jealous of you and you (probably) are soft

I think, you need to tell this roommate to please just keep his opinions to himself. We all have the right to HAVE opinions, it just is not always PROPER for us to go around preaching them to people who really do not want or need to HEAR our opinions.
When you come across people you find are negative or critical, and you do not LIKE to HEAR them, you have every right to SAY THAT in a nice way. Just nicely say “You know…..I would really appreciate it if you could keep your opinions to yourself – thank you.” Then just continue on with your life. You do NOT need to say anything else. What I THINK about HIM does not matter.
