Living with a not so good roommate is not a really nice experience, and I advise you to start being a good one if you are one of those bad roommates that I am talking about because, you are not making life easier for you by being a bad roommate and you are certainly not making the life of you roommates of flatmates by being one of the worst roommates that thy have ever had.
Having a roommate or a flatmate is really nice, especially if you are worried about sleeping along in your flat or pad and if you are worried about the rent and all the necessary expenses when you are living on your own. When you have a roommate or a flatmate, you have someone to share the rent with and all other expenses with. You also have someone to talk to when you are in the flat or you will have an instant companion if you do not feel like sleeping alone in your room or in your flat or pad. But still, if the roommate or flatmate that you have is a bad one, would you not just wish that you could shoulder all the expenses so you would be rid of him or her? Continue reading

If you think you are a bad roommate, then you should be damned forever in hell and rot in there for the rest of your long after life. I am saying this because if you are a bad roommate, you are the bane of the existence of those people out there who are really nice and are really cooperative with their roommates. And simply because of that, you should be punished. And because we are being good roommates and all, we would be generous and kind enough to at least give you some tips and pointers that could help you identify if you are being a nice roommate at all or you are truly one of the most uncooperative and not so great roommates in the history of sharing a flat or a pad together.
One of the signs that would help you determine if you are a good roommate and not a bad roommate at all is to see if you have ever volunteered to take out the trash. If you have and you do this on a regular basis, then you truly are a great roommate. But if you do not do this task even you have been asked nicely or even if your other roommate almost dragged you by your clothes just to do this, then you are not being a good roommate at all. When you live with different people and you are sharing a house with them, it is only natural to feel a little annoyed and mad over a few things that are really worth being mad or annoyed over. And being annoyed or mad over some things are also understandable especially if you are living with people who you did not grow up with, just like your officemates. Still, this small yet major fact does not make the idea of sharing a house with your friends or officemates appealing, especially if you combine it with the fact that you would be able to save more bucks if you share a house with other people who are also hell bent on saving all the money that they could spend, and that, I believe, is reason enough to stick together and stop caring about the differences that you all have.
However, there are still times when things go a little over and even with your patience and tolerance that matches those of a Zen Master, you would still reach a boiling point with which you would have to deal with or implode with all the temper that you have been storing inside you in all those weeks or months of patience. And because of that, I have listed the top annoying things that you could do in the house that you share with a few more people, things that you could do to annoy the hell out of them and push their temper on its limits. Sharing a house is a sure fire way to be able to spend less and save more money. However, sharing a house is not a really simple matter; you would have to consider and think many things through even before you consider sharing a house with people you hardly know of with people that you have not even met up until you moved in that city. Well. If you are really considering sharing a house because you are hell bent on saving as much money as you can, then here are a few suggestions that you might want to consider before you look out for people that could share a house with you and all the expenses that sharing a house entails.
One of the things that you would have to do first is to tell your housemates that you want them to write and list down their expectations and their preferences. With this, you would be able to determine the best possible way of dealing with them because the list that they have made will help you understand them better and know them better. Continue reading

When technology dominated the world, people have become reliant to it. The production of broad sheets and tabloids narrowed because people now find it more convenient to read the news online. Another proof is, almost every establishment now owns a Facebook account where they promote their businesses and services then instantly catch the attention of many online users, this again is accessed online. Internet has unimaginably changed people’s ways of looking into non-high tech lifestyle. This domination also encouraged the people to opt for faster and “reliable” internet surfing for news, entertainment and shopping?
I bet you know by now that there are plenty of online shops that exist all over the world and this has become the perfect shopping companion of men and women, in all ages. Shop for clothes, makeup, shoes, bags, home appliances, tools and gadgets and save time and effort going to the mall on a crowded Saturday when you can simply tap the keyboard of your computer, hit the search button and you’re all set!
Online shops have totally improved the consumers’ shopping experience and other practices. This craze has made shopping so easy and fast even from the comforts of our home. Although there are some who are afraid to engage with this advancement, others would find this as a practical means of purchasing the things they need at any time of the day and receive it the next day or a couple more. The key to a successful purchase online is to do some research first about the product, the online shop and the seller. Read the customer feedbacks, and rely on the shop’s history and corporate profile. Still have doubts? Then better go look for someone who can give you real testimonies on how good the product you want to purchase online and how credible the seller is. Continue reading

But as you wave goodbye to your beloved Alma Mater, holding your hard earned diploma, take with you all the lessons learned, hardships, and memories shared with friends, professors and other colleagues. Life after college marks bigger responsibilities with tons of expectations from family, friends and you yourself. As you take one step forward, you have to come prepared to what the real world has to offer you and expect from you. If back then you feel good and find it enough to just wear short shorts, tank top and slippers when going to school, this time you just can’t, unless you plan to work freelance where there’s no boss, no limits, whatsoever. In whichever case, professionalism is also mirrored by how you carry yourself, deal with people, handle situations, and by your way of dressing up. Loosen a bit and get used to this protocol as you take the challenge of getting a job and start a career. Prep up casually but dare to look sophisticated and smart. Continue reading
