My roommate is the queen of turning any subject into something about herself. And I mean anything. Why does she do that? It is so annoying.

1 year after this dude moved out, my brother moved in, and I changed the electric bill into my name.
now all of a sudden I found that the old roommate owes $150 on his bill, and it’s now randomly being put on my bill 1 year later, now under my name. I didn’t know he didn’t pay it, and nothing showed for a whole year
The bill used to be under his name.
The old roommate is hidden off in the woods somewhere in Washington, how do I get out of this bill, that was under his name, that the charges were for.
Any suggestions?

My roommate dropped his large video camera onto his liquid screen monitor. The rubber lens left a smudge. The mark is the size of a small scratch; it is so annoying, yet I don’t want to take the chance of melting the screen by cleaning it with some solution… Please help!

I need to find a alternative because my roommate has intense multiple chemical allergies and she says that it even bothers her when i use even the smallest amounts of goof off outside then eventually come inside. Of course her chemical allergies are annoying for the both of us but it’s not her fault, she was born with them. Thus, like I said, i need to find a alternative that has a less chemically potent smell that goof off does. Any suggestions?

I have told my roommate more than 100 times not to smoke in the house, because the landlord told us not to smoke. The landlord actually came down and spoke to me 2 times about the smoking, but the problem is my roommate is the one who smokes not me. I keep telling that idiot, not to smoke in house, and i keep telling him to tell his friends not to do it. What should i do? I don’t want to be a rat, but i have asked them many times not to smoke in the house, it was in the leasing form when we signed it. Help!

Roommate hasn’t done dishes the last 3-4X’s, even when she hasd off the last two days. She leaves snotty kleenex’s all around the garbage cans, that I have to pick up when taking out the garbage. She is annoying me. She has been wanting to move out, I told her that my boyfriend could move in with us. She initially said yes that it would be fine with a few small conditions that he agreed to. Then she said he could stay with us for a little while until he found something else. How do I tell her that I dont want to live with her anymore? I wouldn’t mind living with them both, but it is obvious that she doesn’t want to live with my boyfriend.

I know these following thoughts are irrational and break every man law in existence, but here they are anyway. My roommate got a girlfriend and now they take over the couch every night relegating me to wander the Internet in search of something, anything to kill my resentment. Last night they came in and said they’re going to watch a movie, even though I was about four minutes from The Daily Show. I know it shouldn’t bother me, but it really does. It was one thing to sacrifice the couch so somebody else could get laid even as I still dwell in the land of the perpetually pure, but now that the same girl is here every night and he doesn’t even get any every night, it’s getting to be a huge inconvenience.
What am I supposed to do? If I say something to him I look like a whiny little girl. If I don’t I stew in my resentment and I start saying things that won’t be forgiven.

I get so annoyed when either my roommate or a guest comes into the kitchen and just stands around and watches me cook. I always go from one corner to another and they always get in the way and they keep laughing and apologizing for getting in the way. It drives me nuts!!! Go relax already and let me do my job >:(
How do you deal with this? I don’t want to sound bitchy and tell them to gtfo so what would be a polite way of saying this without sounding too formal and rehearsed?

College dorm, one of my roommates, cooks, and its so annoying, because it smells so good. It fills the whole dorm room up. And my mouth just starts watering, because it smells so good, the food he is cooking.
What can I do about it, I’m think of asking him to cook it for me, I’ll by all the ingredients and even pay him a little bit to cook it. Would that be tacky or what.
Need help
